Job Description:
A medium-sized provider is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a purpose-built home in Belper, offering nursing and residential care for the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and demonstrate expertise in turning around homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service to residents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external bodies and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the home's performance and reputation.
Requirements:
- Nurse qualified or experienced in managing nursing homes.
- Demonstrable turnaround experience in a care home setting.
- Strong track record with CQC.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
