Summary
Bromley High School - GDST currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and committed NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team as a Junior School Teaching Assistant, to provide a complementary and support role to the teacher in encouraging pupils in their learning and the acquisition of skills.
Job overview
To ensure all pupils are appropriately supported in their learning and wellbeing, be it academic, practical, behavioural, emotional or social. This will involve actively supporting all pupils in class, during extra-curricular and co- curricular activities, during unstructured play times, and whilst on trips, and through the leading of additional learning sessions/interventions as directed by their teacher and our SENDCo. The role would predominantly be in the Junior school (potentially supporting any year group from Reception to Year 6) but could involve support for girls in the Senior school (Year 7 or 8) as part of our Middle School programme.
