About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Wellness Centre in the School of Health, Social Work and Sport for a Lead Nutrition Practitioner. The Wellness Centre promotes preventative health services to local businesses and communities and supports the development of student practitioner skills under expert supervision and specifically the Lead Nutrition Practitioner role will oversee the day-to-day operations in the Healthy Heart clinic as part of the Wellness Centre.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate about Nutrition. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively as a part of the Wellness centre team. Experience of nutritional assessment using a range of methods including diet diaries, Mediterranean diet score and targeted interviews and experience of delivering and evaluating weight management programme are essential. Significant relevant experience working in a nutrition role is essential as well as a relevant and undergraduate degree in a food/nutrition or other relevant science discipline.
