MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES This role carries line management responsibility for members of the AHP team. The post holder will form part of the service management team. The post holder is expected to foster good relationships and work closely with multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external Responsible for working alongside and/or supporting volunteers within their team. Responsible to maintain robust communication networks with the Head of Clinical Services and Service Director and other agencies and professions. Responsible to develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders. The post holder is expected to represent Briankind at meetings/forums as required. Proven experience of working in an appropriate service across healthcare settings. Demonstrable experience of evidence-based practice, research, audit, and outcome measures Highly specialist knowledge and application of therapy assessments and interventions using complex level clinical reasoning. Evidence of managing a team of staff including setting objectives, appraisal, recruitment, and disciplinary issues An ability to work autonomously and to set own and service priorities, providing guidance and objectives for the team. An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to therapist/therapy service performance. An ability to organise, co-ordinate and respond efficiently to complex information. Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on current practice
