Work Address:Skegby Junior School, Ash Grove, Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 3FH
Role Purpose:
To maintain clean and hygienic classrooms and toilet facilities at Skegby Junior School, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning classrooms, toilets, and communal areas
Hoovering, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces
Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately
Sanitising high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards
Using cleaning equipment and materials safely
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and reliably
Attention to detail and punctuality
DBS may be required depending on school policy
