Summary
Location: Hammersmith
Salary: £110-£130 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Long Term Futures is looking for a confident, proactive SEN Behaviour Mentor to support two pupils in Year 6 with ASD and behavioural needs in a welcoming primary school in Hammersmith. These pupils require a strong role model who can keep them engaged in class, redirect them when needed, and prevent disruption to other learners.
You will be providing a firm but fair approach, setting clear boundaries, offering emotional support, and helping the pupils manage their behaviour so they can fully access learning. The ideal candidate will be calm, resilient, and able to build positive, trusting relationships with both children.
This primary school in Hammersmith is known for its supportive leadership team, strong pastoral focus, and commitment to helping pupils with additional needs succeed. Teachers describe the environment as structured, friendly, and collaborative, with excellent systems in place for behaviour and SEN support.
Transport Links: Hammersmith offers excellent accessibility via the District, Piccadilly, and Hammersmith & City Lines, along with multiple bus routes into West and Central London.
£110-£130 per day, paid weekly
Long-term to permanent opportunity
Full-time role starting ASAP
Support from a strong pastoral and SEN team
Opportunities for training in behaviour support, autism, and de-escalation techniques
A positive, structured school environment where mentors thrive
We specialise in long-term and permanent education recruitment, ensuring that staff and schools are matched for long-term impact. You'll receive ongoing support from your dedicated consultant and access to exclusive roles across London.
Applications are encouraged from those with backgrounds in psychology, youth work, sports mentoring, behaviour support, mental health, or other fields relevant to SEN. We also welcome candidates with experience supporting pupils with ASD or behavioural needs.
If you're ready to make a real difference to two pupils preparing for secondary school, apply today.
