Summary

Receptionist & Administrator (Part-Time)
Leith based | fully office-based role
Part-Time hours | 3 days per week (Monday - Wednesday - Friday) | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Temp role for 3 months initially | strong potential to be extended
Pay rate of £12.60 per hour + holiday pay

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a one of our UK-wide clients to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator for their Leith-based office on a temporary basis. This role is expected to run for at least 3 months with strong potential to be extended beyond this.

Please note that this is a Part-Time role working full days on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays and is fully based on-site in their office. Applicants to this role must be fully comfortable with the working pattern on offer to be considered.

Training for the role will take place on-site in Leith week commencing Monday 15th December, and the official start date of the temp role will be Monday 5th January. Applicants must be available on the above dates.

This role would ideally suit an experienced Administrator or Receptionist who is specifically looking for Part-Time hours.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Covering Reception, dealing with visitors as they arrive, ensuring they are signed in & informing staff of their arrival
* Handling incoming calls into the office, taking messages when required & passing callers to the appropriate contact
* Dealing with basic financial administration including the processing of incoming invoices
* Updating a variety of spreadsheets & lists using Excel
* Carrying out a variety of other ad hoc administration duties as directed by the Administration Manager

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience within an Administration or Reception role - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Excellent organisation skills & excellent attention to detail - with the ability to prioritise your workload & pivot your focus when needed
* Solid IT skills including a good level of competence with the MS Office suite (particularly Excel)
* Applicants for this role will need to undergo a PVG check through Disclosure Scotland, so candidates with unspent criminal convictions will not be considered
