Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live In Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals 24/7 living in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive care, empathy, and professionalism. Duties

Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, implementing behaviour management techniques.
Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to encourage mental stimulation and social interaction.
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Offer emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients.
Requirements

Previous experience in live in care is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience when dealing with clients of all ages.
Flexibility to work a minimum of 2 weeks but working longer is desirable.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to health and safety regulations. This role provides an enriching opportunity for those passionate about caring for others while developing their skills within a supportive environment.
Knowledge of patient care practices including Alzheimer's care, dementia management, and behaviour management strategies is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Valid driving license for transportation duties desirable but not essential.
