£19.05 per hour pro-rata for all public/bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year
Hours: Full-time or part-time roles available. Minimum 35.5 hours per week guaranteed.

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care at Home Workers to join our team. You will support clients in their homes and local communities, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Travel time between visits is included in hourly rate, so all working time is fairly compensated. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Enhanced pay (£19.05/hr pro-rata ) is offered for all public/bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year shifts.



Key Duties & Responsibilities

(Care Workers and Home Carers)

Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and bathing.

Support safe mobility, transfers, and use of equipment.

Prompt or administer medication as per policy and training.

Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Support clients to attend community activities, appointments, and exercise.

Observe, record, and report changes in client wellbeing.

Work in line with company policies, safeguarding duties, and health & social care standards.

Requirements

Essential

Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centred care.

Good spoken and written English.

Flexible availability including weekends and public/bank holidays.

Ability to travel between client homes.

Right to work in the UK.

Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records.

Desirable

Experience in care, support work, nursing assistance, or similar.

SVQ Level 2/3 Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Driving licence and access to a vehicle.



Pay & Benefits

£15.05/hr pro-rata, including care delivery and travel time between visits.

£19.05/hr pro-rata for all public/bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year.

Paid mileage at 0.20p per mile.
