Summary
Location: Moray
Contract: Full-Time 35.5hr/week or Part-Time
Pay: £15.80/hour (including travel time between visits)
Bank Holidays: uplift
Christmas/New Year: £19.80/hour
At HighlandHearts HomeCare Ltd, our Senior Care Practitioners play a vital role in helping adults live with dignity and independence at home. We support a wide range of needs, including dementia, autism, elderly care, and transitional youth services with their activities of daily living. Senior Care Practitioner is responsible for providing advanced support to individuals with complex needs. They oversee the implementation of complex care plans, assess the needs of service users, and design tailored care plans. Senior Practitioners also provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, facilitating their professional development. They play a key role in advocating for the rights and well-being of service users and contribute to the development of best practices and policies within their field.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and mentorship to carers
Providing advanced support to clients with complex care and support needs
medication administration and management
Provide personal care and companionship
Assist with meals, mobility, and medication
Record care notes digitally and report concerns
Support light domestic duties and daily routines
Encourage clients to engage in community activities
You’ll Need:
SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or willing to work toward it) or equivalent
Minimum 6 months of care experience (paid or unpaid)
A caring, reliable, and flexible approach
Ability to travel between client homes (car drivers preferred)
Medication Administration and management trained
Proven ability of spoken and written English language
