What You’ll Need
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting, ideally as a room
- Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles
- Warm, approachable, and inclusive leadership style
- Passion for supporting children’s growth, learning, and wellbeing
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring smooth routines and high-quality care
- Plan and deliver stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Lead, mentor, and support your team of early years practitioners
- Monitor children’s progress, maintaining accurate records in line with EYFS requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
