Relief Security Officer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Relief Security Officerto join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation,
What you'll do:
Act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and the public, providing a professional, friendly, and helpful service at all times.
Manage internal security functions including access control, CCTV monitoring, alarm operation, and coordination with client security teams.
Respond effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms or security incidents, supporting full building evacuations and acting as Fire Warden.
Assist contractors and visitors, ensuring compliance with site procedures and policies.
Liaise with statutory authorities and provide accurate incident information when required.
Monitor and operate site radio systems, following correct protocols.
Maintain clear and accurate records, including incident logs, Health & Safety documentation, key control, and visitor logs.
Carry out building patrols, open/lock-up procedures, and general site security checks.
Manage employee and visitor badges, ensuring secure access.
Provide First Aid/Defibrillator support (training required).
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area.
Perform other reasonable duties to support site operations.
What you'll bring:
Strong customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner.
Experience with security operations such as access control, CCTV, alarms, and incident response.
Ability to stay calm and act confidently during emergencies and evacuations.
Clear communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff, visitors, and authorities.
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
Reliability when carrying out patrols, lock/unlock duties, and badge/key management.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace.
Willingness to complete First Aid/Defibrillator training.
Flexibility to support additional duties as needed.
