Mitie Relief Security Officer - Covering Various Community Health Partnership Sites Across LiverpoolPay Rate: £12.60 per hourContract: 8 hours per week (the hours will change from week to week as you will be covering holidays and sickness)

Looking for flexibility, variety and a role that keeps you on your toes?Join us as a Relief Security Officer and become a vital part of our team supporting multiple CHP sites across Liverpool. Unlike traditional zero-hour relief officer roles, we offer a guaranteed 8-hour contract— you will be covering holidays and sick leave so the hours will differ from week to week. If you're adaptable, proactive and enjoy a role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What You'll Be DoingOperational Responsibilities

-Protect customers' people, property and assets by following site-specific Assignment Instructions (AIs).

-Support service excellence, helping us meet and exceed performance targets.

-Keep up to date with all AIs and contribute ideas to enhance the service where possible.

-Ensure full compliance with all security regulations and legal requirements, including holding a valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).

-Work methodically and professionally, following procedures and maintaining high standards at all times.

Training & Development

-Complete all required training to remain fully competent across multiple sites.

-Take part in ongoing development to enhance your skills and confidence.

-Use technology effectively to stay informed and support daily tasks.

-Ensure your SIA licence is renewed at least 16 weeks before expiry.

Security & Health & Safety

-Act quickly and responsibly to report hazards, threats or unusual activity.

-Stay alert and use initiative to prevent incidents, involving colleagues when situations escalate.

-Handle challenging situations with professionalism and calm judgement.

-Accurately document any incidents in your notebook and complete formal reports.

-Make required check calls and contact emergency services or the Communications Centre when needed.

-Represent Mitie and our client with pride and reliability.

What We're Looking For
-Previous security experience

-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)

-Flexible availability, including days, nights and weekends

-A reliable, proactive and professional approach
