Hays Education is working with a SEND school in Winsford who are looking for an administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.
Your new role
This school administration job is part-time, working 9.30-2.30 Monday-Friday during term time. You will join a caring and supportive team who work hard to give the students the best education experience that they can.
Day to day the job involves:
- Signing in visitors to the school according to the schools safeguarding policy
- Handling all incoming phone and email queries
- Typing letters and using the school system to get messages to parents
- Making outgoing calls to parents as directed
- Handling post and deliveries
- Maintaining data on the school system including attendance and attainment information
What you'll need to succeed
For this school administration job, prior experience of Arbor would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be an excellent communicator, and be able to work independently and prioritise work in a busy office environment. You will be professional when dealing with visitors to the school, promoting the school ethos at all times, and working within all policies and processes. You will have strong IT skills.
Placement in this school administration job will also require completing an enhanced DBS check.
