Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow? Our Administration & Clerical (A&C) Team within the Therapeutic Services Department at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic individual to join us in delivering exceptional management support to our Therapies Outpatient Department.

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a central role in the smooth running of our outpatient services—delivering essential Business Support that underpins effective Operational Delivery. Your contribution will help ensure that systems function efficiently, processes are well-coordinated, and communication flows seamlessly between patients, clinicians, and support staff. By keeping everything behind the scenes running like clockwork, you’ll directly enhance the quality of care we provide, allowing patients to feel supported and clinicians to stay focused on delivering outstanding treatment.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative, thrives in a structured yet dynamic setting, and values the power of collaboration. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own responsibilities while being surrounded by a team that’s supportive, inclusive, and deeply committed to our shared mission.

The successful candidate must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication, prioritisation and administration skills whilst demonstrating your knowledge of IT systems.

You will also be able to evidence working flexibly and have experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative, with minimal supervision.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Minute taking
• Ordering
• Recruitment / Interview support
• E-roster Management Support
• Clinic Template Creation
• Working flexibly within the role to cover duties in cases of planned and unplanned leave across the A&C Team.

You are required to offer a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment that provides a responsive administration service to both the administrative and clinical teams within Therapeutic Services.
