Summary

Job Overview

This is a temporary, part-time position as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant supporting the Inclusion team in an academy setting. The core function is to help students access all areas of the curriculum, with a specific focus on Maths and English. The role involves developing students' learning, life skills, emotional literacy, and social skills through direct support, delivering intervention programs, and dedicated student progress tracking.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate must possess a strong academic foundation, demonstrated by having a GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in both English and Maths.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate needs to be an enthusiastic, dynamic, and inspirational individual with the energy and creativity to develop and inspire student learning and life skills. This role requires the ability to work proactively with staff, manage a caseload of students, and deliver targeted intervention programs that focus on improving emotional literacy and social skills. The successful applicant must be skilled in tracking and monitoring student life skill targets and EHCP outcomes, and possess the specialist knowledge required to assess student needs and support their educational progress, attainment, and overall preparation for adulthood.
