We are recruiting motivated, professional Sports Activity Leaders to join a high-quality alternative education provision in Eastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build a long-term career supporting vulnerable young people through physical activity, routine, and structured mentoring.
This provision offers a calm, consistent environment for young people aged 9-16 who benefit from learning outside the traditional classroom. Through activity-based learning, emotional support, and strong relationships, you will play a key role in helping students increase confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with daily routines.
- Delivering and supporting structured activity sessions
- Facilitating purposeful movement tailored to each individual
- Providing 1:1 mentoring to help develop emotional safety and connection
- Supporting daily routines including morning check-ins and planning sessions
- Encouraging independence, responsibility, and self-awareness
- Using local sports facilities to enrich learning experiences
- Supporting outdoor learning, reflection time, and wellbeing sessions
- Maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding standards
Your role will help young people develop the skills needed to progress socially, academically, and emotionally.

Experience in sport, coaching, youth work, or care is beneficial but not essential.
- £93 per day
- Full-time hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
