The role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the mechanical design process from day one. You’ll work closely with clients, contribute to strategy, and mentor junior engineers – all while working on a wide range of interesting, design-led projects in Bristol and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design on multiple projects
• Produce high-quality design documents – from calculations and models to specifications and drawings
• Represent the business in client meetings and design team workshops
• Provide day-to-day support and mentorship to junior colleagues
• Keep on top of design standards, building regulations, and sustainable technologies
• Plan and manage your work effectively to meet project deadlines

The person

We're looking for someone who:

• Is Chartered or actively working towards it
• Has solid experience in mechanical building services design
• Understands sustainable, low-carbon design approaches
• Enjoys working collaboratively but can also lead independently
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and teams
• Is confident using Revit, IES, Amtech, AutoCAD and similar tools
• Is fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK
