Summary
Hygiene Technician / Grease Hygiene Technician – Team Leader
Our client is a specialist contractor in cleaning and ventilation services, currently seeking a dedicated candidate to join the Hygiene Technician division / Grease Hygiene division. There clients include leading national hotel groups, restaurant chains, and food-on-the-go brands, all committed to maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to various client sites across the UK to deliver hygiene services
• Clean ventilation systems including canopies, ductwork, and fan units in line with TR19 standards
• Install access panels where necessary to support compliance and maintenance
• Work safely in confined spaces and at height, adhering to site-specific protocols
• Communicate professionally with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction
• Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to commencing work
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures
Candidate Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working at height and in confined spaces is advantageous
• Must hold a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) qualification with experience with TR19 ductwork cleaning
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours – shifts typically begin late afternoon/early evening and may involve overnight stays
• Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to quality
What We Offer:
• Competitive starting salary: £27,500 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
