Summary
Owned by Sunderland City Council, the Port of Sunderland, offers the provision of port services and infrastructure across a range of market sectors which includes the circular economy, commodities, intermodal connectivity, and offshore andamp; renewable energy. Recent development activity at the Port recognises its established position as a location of choice for third party, private sector, self-funding capital investments.
The Port Business Development Manager will play a critical role in supporting the commercial activities of the Port of Sunderland. This position requires a proactive and analytical individual who is ready to engage with clients, manage commercial relationships, and drive business development initiatives. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to expand our markets and optimise our service offerings.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced industry professional within business development. We would welcome applicants across varied backgrounds, whether specifically port or maritime, or from the circular economy and commodity trades for example.
