Summary

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join the Place and Sustainability team. This is a temporary, full-time position, classified as Senior Interims/Agency Workers. The successful candidate will provide essential coverage for a vacant post, ensuring smooth project operations and contributing to the successful delivery of key initiatives within a 37-hour work week. This role is crucial for maintaining project momentum from mid-December 2025 through late March 2026.

Key Skills & Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Assist the project manager in coordinating resources, equipment, meetings, and information.

Documentation Management: Organize, file, and maintain all project documentation, reports, and contracts.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, facilitating clear communication channels and ensuring alignment on project goals.

Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and help prepare regular status reports for senior management.

Administrative Support: Manage project schedules, coordinate logistics for project activities, and handle general administrative duties as needed.

Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all project activities adhere to established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in a project support, project coordination, or assistant project management role, ideally within the public sector or a related field.

Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.

Availability:
Must be available to work 37 hours per week (09:00–17:30, Monday–Friday) for the full duration of the contract, starting December 15, 2025, and ending March 27, 2026.
