Our client, a well-established secondary school in Watford, Hertfordshire, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Business and Economics to join their dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons to inspire and motivate students.

As a Teacher of Business and Economics, you will play a crucial role in developing students' understanding of the global economy, financial management, and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business and Economics
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and teaching materials
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student progress and welfare

The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience teaching Business and Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends and best practices

In return, our client offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 to £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The school provides a supportive and collaborative working environment, with opportunities for career progression and professional growth.
