What’s in it for you?

If you’re passionate about making a real impact in the lives of young people, this is a role where your work truly matters. You’ll be joining a well-established therapeutic residential care home with over 25 years’ experience supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Fully funded training pathways from Level 3 to Level 5 in Residential Childcare
• 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + extra holiday and bonuses for overtime and longevity
• Employee of the Month vouchers
• Your birthday off — paid
• Bluelight Card
• Employee Assistance Programme (Wisdom app)
• Weekly access to a Therapist and monthly psychologist-led clinical consultations
• Additional wellbeing support for both staff and young people
• Comprehensive 2-week induction, including PACE and PPR training
• Above-market pay scales
• Flexible shift pattern — typically 2 on / 4 off with approx. 8 sleep-ins per month

Are you the right person for the job?

You’ll thrive here if you’re committed to safeguarding, passionate about supporting young people, and confident working within a therapeutic environment. To join us at the Senior level, you will need:

• Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• At least 1 year of experience in a residential childcare role
• A manual driving licence
• Experience working directly with children in a residential setting

All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks — safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.

What will your role look like?

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home and in shaping a stable, nurturing environment for young people aged 8 to 17. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapeutic care, independence skills, and educational support
• Guiding and supporting the wider staff team
• Playing an active role in care planning and ensuring high-quality practice
• Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Promoting emotional, social, and behavioural development
You’ll work within our therapeutic framework overseen by a Clinical Psychologist and supported by a specialist team, with all staff trained in PACE and PPR
