To deliver a consultant led Critical Care, and Critical Care Outreach service as part of the duty Consultant rota and this includes all aspects of treatment and relevant management duties for the proper functioning of the department, viz:Leading twice daily Critical Care Ward RoundsOn-call work related to Critical CareMedical Procedures related to Critical CareCommunication with patients and/or their relativesMultidisciplinary Team meetingsReview of referrals to Critical Care and liaison with ward specialitiesCritical Care Outreach work, including discharge follow up and ward based NIV, in collaboration with theCCOT specialist nursesCritical Care Follow-up ClinicProgrammed activities in Theatres/Anaesthetics or base speciality
