Summary
Night & Day contracts available. Key Responsibilities
Direct Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care plans based on individual needs and preferences, including conducting risk assessments and regular reviews.
Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of care assistants, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high standards of care delivery.
Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any concerns.
Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of care provided, incidents, and any changes in residents' conditions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Previous experience in a care role, preferably in a senior position, is often required.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) are typically preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership abilities, and a compassionate approach to care are essential.
