Summary
Night Care contract available Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting their dignity and independence.
Support with Daily Activities: Helping clients with meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Empathy and Patience: A caring attitude and the ability to understand and respond to the emotional needs of clients are crucial.
Basic Literacy and Numeracy: While formal qualifications may not be required, basic literacy and numeracy skills are important for documentation and following care plans.
Training: Many employers provide in-house training, and completing a qualification in health and social care can be advantageous.
