We are seeking a highly professional and proactive Receptionist who will act as the face of the building and deliver an exceptional first impression to all clients and visitors.​

This is a very corporate role requiring someone with outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong customer service ethos.

Job Description

While the main responsibility will be managing the reception area during peak times, this role offers variety beyond the front desk.​

You will support administrative and facilities tasks throughout the day, assist with events, and provide cover for the Facilities Support Manager during holidays or sickness.​

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn more about facilities management and develop strong client-facing skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering a professional and friendly service.

Ensure the reception area is maintained to a 5-star standard, clean, tidy, and free from clutter.

Build strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues, promoting a positive image at all times.

Proactively resolve client and visitor enquiries with a “yes-we-can” attitude.

Support the coordination of events, including booking services, equipment, and hospitality.

Assist with administrative and facilities tasks as required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Provide cover for the Facilities Support Manager during absence, maintaining site standards.

Communicate effectively at all levels and uphold company service standards.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Corporate, client-facing presence with excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.

Strong organisational ability and able to work on own initiative.

Clear and confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn about facilities management.

Professional, polished appearance and ability to make important people feel valued.
