Summary
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a friendly primary school in Watford?
The welcoming primary school is seeking a SEN TA to work 1:1, mornings only however can be full time for the right person. Would you be available from January to the end of year?
The Role:
As a SEN TA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality 1:1 SEN support to a pupil with ASD, SLD and Non-verbal needs.
This role involves:
• Experience supporting children with SEN is essential, and we are looking for someone who brings patience, understanding, and a genuinely caring approach to their work.
• Using PECS and visual aid to support expression and communication
• Experience in providing sensory-based Activities
• Skills in observing and interpreting non-verbal cues (gestures, behaviours, facial expressions).
• Ability to promote communication opportunities throughout the day.
