Your role:
As part of the Education, Work & Skills directorate and the Working Well team, you’ll be responsible for managing high profile employment related programmes. This will include all aspects of project management, delivering across large, devolved programmes and test and learn pilots alike. You’ll work directly with a broad range of Senior Leaders and organisations across multiple sectors; with partnership working and stakeholder management being critical aspects of this role.
Our goal is to ensure the highest quality of support for Greater Manchester residents. You’ll apply strong programme management skills to deliver outcomes, manage risk, and embed learning for continuous improvement. Working across sectors, you’ll build constructive partnerships and influence decisions to shape future employment support activity.
About you:

You’ll thrive in a target driven environment and relish every opportunity to influence decisions and overcome obstacles. In doing so you’ll be creative and work flexibly to find the best possible solutions to challenges. An evidence focus, problem solving and rational thought will be required, while being honest and fair in your approach to making the right decision is critically important.
