Teaching Assistant
Hours of work - 30 hrs / week Monday - Friday 8.45 - 3.15 (part time applications will be considered) Term time only plus inset days (39 weeks per year)
Fixed Term – Until August 2026Salary; SCP 5-6Start date: 5th January 2026 / ASAPNythe Primary School is looking to appoint 2 outstanding KS2 teaching assistants who are resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated. We would like someone with a tolerant and compassionate nature, a sense of humour and the ability to work both on their own and as part of our supportive team. Our ideal candidate would be:
An outstanding KS2 teaching assistant with experience of supporting children with special educational needs.
Fully committed to inclusion.
Friendly, positive, flexible and energetic.
Someone with high expectations.A team player.
Able to complete observations and assessments, and support with record keeping.Able to run interventions with instruction from the class teacher Good numeracy/literacy skills to GCSE grade 4 level or above. In return we offer:
