JobIntroduction

As aHR Advisor, atRoyal Stoke Hospital, you will provide efficient HR support to thebusiness, working closely with the People and Operations teams. You’ll managekey admin tasks such as Right to Work checks, absence monitoring, and guidingmanagers to follow correct HR processes. You will also support HR projects andad-hoc work under the HR Manager’s direction, offer basic HR advice, and helppromote the organisation’s brand across the business.

What You'llDo:

  • Deliver efficient HR administration, including record-keeping, contract changes, meeting coordination, and GDPR-compliant processes.
  • Provide first-line HR and ER advice, directing managers and employees to People Services when needed.
  • Oversee compliance for Right to Work, DBS checks, and absence procedures, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Maintain HR systems (Pro WFM, Kronos) and ensure accurate updates to employee and attendance data.
  • Produce regular HR and payroll reports, highlighting trends, issues, and potential risks.
  • Support managers with payroll queries, investigations, and general HR tasks.

What YouBring:

  • CIPD Level 3 - 5
  • Good communication skills and the ability to prepare written reports to withstand external scrutiny
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Good working knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office or related software
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own workload and to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience of working without direct supervision
  • High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
