The Role
To support an internal development opportunity within our current team, we are now inviting applications for a Health and Safety conscious, logistical thinker to co-ordinate and lead our mobile library, home delivery, handy person and estate distribution services.
This role includes responsibility for:
- The safe management of our fleet vehicles and associated costs
- All aspects of rota management, recruitment, training and people management for the fleet team
- Assessing and effective risk management of all tasks assigned to the fleet team
- Delivering exceptional levels of customer experience both as an internal stakeholder and externally to our customers, potential customers and stakeholders
About You
We are looking for a positive and self-driven manager. You should be able to work independently, as well as part of a wider team and be passionate about delivering the best service to our customers. To excel in this role, you will need high levels of;
- Analytical and logistical skills
- Ability to motivate, work under pressure and manage risks.
- Schedule management
- People and budget management
- An understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements of fleet vehicles
