Summary

Stock Assistant
• Work as part of the team to ensure safe movement and storage of incoming stock.
• Ensure both corporate and public donated stock is de-branded and labelled in line with any contractual or project requirements
• Meet productivity quantities requirements in time to fulfil orders for a specific date
• Product sorted to a required standard & grading and labelled correctly for sale in the shops to generate the best income for the British Red Cross.
• Work with the warehouse managers to maximise productivity and income generated from all stock sorted and complete productivity trackers
• Work to ensure stock outgoing to shops / rag merchants is dealt with correctly and stored safely ready for collection
• Ensure the secure allocation of stock.
• Knowledge of stock suitable for selling via the E-commerce Team and promptly pass on suitable items to be listed and sold online to maximise income and impact of stock.
• Ensure Gift Aided items are processed correctly in line with HMRC compliance.
• Maintain any required records.

Van Driver
• Responsible for collection of products from our corporate partners and for the safe loading and unloading of the van.
• Distribution and collection of stock in line with requirements of the stock and Ecommerce teams which may include extensive driving and occasional overnight stays.
• Delivery of the stock to required shops including moving the product to the required storage area in stores.
• Collection of public stock donations when required and any other ad hoc van requirements.
• Maintenance of any paperwork required
• Regular checks of the van, low level maintenance of the vehicle and reporting of any issues.
