Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.
This job is Workstyle 5 – Hybrid+
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
As an Architectural Technician you will be working within the Housing Projects team in Assets helping to deliver a diverse range of projects on our existing Housing stock as well as providing input into new-build affordable housing. Experience and understanding of required drawing packages, specifications and relevant legislation is essential.
Our aim is to provide delivery of service efficiently and cost effectively to produce a well-designed end-product that promotes Angus as a great place to live, work and visit. You will be joining a friendly and motivated team with a broad range of experience and skills who will support you in your new role.
This job is temporary for up to 12 months from date of appointment.
You will be placed on the salary scale according to your qualifications and/or experience, as outlined in the attached career grade structure.
As this is a temporary post, you will not be eligible to progress through the stages of the career grade structure.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
