Summary

We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our Anglian Water team based in Ely



Location: Ely- mixture of office/ travelling to various sites within the area and home working

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us



In this role, you will be working on the Anglian Water contract part of the IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair & development services). The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.



What will you be responsible for?

As a SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the capital main laying team, who are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions to critical infrastructure projects.

You will be providing first class support to operational teams at all levels and together promote safety, ensure mitigation against risk and drive improvement in SHE performance across the alliance.

Your day to day will include:

-Actively promote and provide informed advice on health, wellbeing and environment topics

-Supporting Kier SHE Managers and the alliance SHE Lead in the development and maintenance of the safety management system within the alliance in line with the needs of Kier, Anglian Water and delivery partners

-Work closely with the operational teams to support them in fulfilling their SHE responsibilities

-Provide SHE reporting requirements & ensure operational compliance

-Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are effectively investigated



What are we looking for?

This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if you hold:

-Demonstrable experience within the construction/ infrastructure/ utilities industries

-NEBOSH Level 3 certificate or equivalent

-Full driving licence
