ABOUT THE JOB
As a Exercise Referral Lead at Lampton Leisure, you will contribute to the strategic development of Exercise of Referral
Programming and physical activities across the Borough.
Key Responsibilities include:
* To implement the Lampton Leisure Health & Wellbeing Plan, and lead on the adult delivery of Health, Wellbeing, Sports and
Development.
* To Lead on the Exercise on Referral Programme.
* Be Responsible for the effective co-ordination and administration of the programme and to assist with the development of the
proramme by supporting the Health and Wellbeing Manager on delivery of all Health Houslow KPIs.
* To assist in the training, management, and development of the Exercise on Referral team of staff.
* Be innovative and look at ways to diversify the exercise on referral offering
* To keep up to date with CPD’s and industry standards.
* Work in partnership with on site teams such as fitness and membership to ensure we are consistently supporting those in our
communities who can benefits from our services.
* To build upon and maintain positive working partnerships with key partners such as Morelife, London Borough of Hounslow, Public
Health, and community organisations.
* Undertake regular visits to GP surgeries, working alongside NHS partners to devise a planned programme of training sessions, to
support the programmes’ work and objectives.
* Plan and implement a pathway of activities, including a range of appropriate exercise sessions within Lampton centres and
community-led classes.
* To manage, and deliver where appropriate, structured exercise sessions that are safe, effective, and enjoyable.
* To assist with health and wellbeing events, corporate team building and outreach engagement events
* Conduct site visits, carrying out assessments on EOR instructors to ensure deliverables are at the required standard
* Management of the EOR team, regularly 1:1, involvement in recruitment and overseeing and supporting where necessary holiday and
absence.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* Experience of all aspects of Funding with the Health and Wellbeing team.
* Fitness instructor or Personal training qualification (Level 3) and/or an Exercise On Referral Certificate,
* Previous experience of planning and delivering sports and community development activities and coaching or instructing adult
fitness sessions.
* A passion for health and wellbeing
* Empathetic with a strong passion for building relationships, organised, professional, and compassionate with experienced in
working across an organisation
* Ability to influence others.
* Employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & reference checks.
