We play a key role in establishing new transactions for the Group. Our expertise is instrumental in ensuring the successful management of transactions once they are established.

To achieve our goals, there is a need to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. We provide support and guidance to finance, legal, and Consumer Lending teams, and collaborate with external advisors such as lawyers, auditors, rating agencies, swap counterparties, investment banks, and regulators. Our ability to effectively collaborate and communicate will be critical to our success as a team.

Join us to be part of a very successful team assisting in the management and reporting for a number of strategic high profile Lloyds Banking Group securitisation, covered bond and capital optimisation programmes, which provide significant volumes of funding and liquidity/RWA benefit to the bank utilising mortgages as collateral.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and transferring cash associated with mortgage transactions and applying the cash collected from defined waterfalls.

  • Reconciliation of securitisation bank accounts, general ledger and mortgage system

  • Completion of all tests and reports on pool performance.

  • Preparation and checking of loan level data for various parties.

  • Handle performance of the portfolios looking after substitutions and warranty breaches and monitoring triggers associated with the programmes.

  • Provide support for the external lawyers and auditors in the various mortgage file reviews.

  • Work together with the Securitisation Manager for other aspects of new deals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. Assist in the support to Retail Finance, trustees, investors and external advisors including lawyers, auditors, rating agencies, swap counterparties and regulators in relation to designated programmes.

  • Maintain the control environment around key business processes and identify areas for improvement/simplification.

  • Provide support to internal audit and compliance teams for their periodic reviews of the programmes.

  • Provide input into the learning and development of the team.

What you'll need:

  • An understanding of securitisations and wholesale funding markets is required for this role

  • Collaboration, communication, presentation, team skills, with the ability to influence across different levels within the organization.

  • A strong working understanding of Microsoft 365 apps is essential

  • Attention to detail and an ability to complete complex tasks without compromising quality

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Experience of working in a large financial services organisation.

  • An interest in data and systems and lending policies, procedures and products.

  • Knowledge of Power platform apps would be a distinct advantage.
