Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Finance Department based at Salford Royal Hospital in this key role in the Financial Control Team. The post of Cashier/Finance Assistant involves working at Cashiers Offices across the NCA , and also working from home.

The post holder will be incorporated within the finance team and will deal with various aspects of the accounts payable function and be the main relief Cashier at Fairfield General Hospital, the Royal Oldham Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary to cover for absence and annual leave. The Cashier is an integral part of the finance department, receipting monies paid into the Trust and dealing with staff, patients and visitors

The role involves providing an effective and high-quality cashiering service which meets the requirements of staff and management and also supports the Trust’s aims and objectives, whilst being compliant with the Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions. It also includes assisting with Accounts Payable duties comprising of coding and assigning invoices, processing payments, dealing with supplier queries, and other ad hoc day to day duties. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a high level of accuracy and a helpful courteous approach to resolving issues.
