Job Description: As a Skilled Production Operative in our Packing Department, you will play a pivotal role in our fast-paced food
production environment, ensuring the seamless operation of our Hot-Pie production lines. You will be responsible for maintaining
the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and hygiene while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Operative you will
1. Operate and maintain production line equipment efficiently to meet daily production targets.
2. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory standards.
3. Work with raw meat and ingredients, following stringent hygiene practices to prevent contamination.
4. Monitor critical control points (CCPs) to uphold food safety and quality standards.
5. Lift and handle ingredients and finished products, weighing up to 25kg, with care and attention to safety.
6. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues promptly.
Requirements:
1. Good written and spoken English skills to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
2. Previous experience in a fast-paced factory environment, ideally within the food industry.
3. Physical ability to lift and handle weights up to 25kg safely.
4. Experience as Production Operative or knowledge of operating and maintaining production line equipment is advantageous.
5. Knowledge of critical control points (CCPs) and food safety regulations is preferred.
