- Monitor progress against key milestones for major civil works such as foundations, structural frames, and underground services.
- Provide planning input into temporary works sequencing, logistics planning, and site access strategies.
- Support resource planning for plant, labour, and specialist subcontractors across civil packages.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure alignment between design deliverables and construction sequencing.
- Analyse schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies for critical civil engineering activities.
- Produce clear and concise planning reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support tender planning and bid submissions with robust programme strategies for civil infrastructure works.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Planner or Lead Planner on major civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and planning best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
It’s great if you also have the following
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and planning requirements.
- Background in risk analysis and earned value management (EVM).
