Summary
Francis Askew Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible lunchtime assistant for a term-time permanent position. The successfully candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with children in a busy large primary school. The role is an important one within the school and will help to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment.
Salary: Grade 1, Point 2 - £12.65 per hour for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11.20am - 1.20pm, term time only (38 weeks).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
You will be responsible for multiple lunch servings over the school lunchtime period and supervising play sessions and engaging with our young community.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
• A proven ability to work on their own initiative
• An ability to work well as part of a team
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety
• A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
• A positive attitude and alignment to a can-do culture
• An interest and/or experience of working with children with special educational needs
• A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
• Experience of working within a similar role and the ability to understand key policies eg Child Protection and Behaviour Management.
