Summary
Your new company
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Neighbourhood Officer to join a Dundee-based housing association on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with previous neighbourhood/housing officer experience.
Your new role
- Act as the first point of contact for tenants, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
- Carry out estate inspections and ensure properties and communal areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Manage tenancy-related issues, including anti-social behaviour and breaches of tenancy agreements.
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Support community engagement initiatives and promote a positive neighbourhood environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous neighbourhood/housing officer experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Knowledge of housing management practices is desirable but not essential.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
What you'll get in return
- Temporary position for an initial period of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
- £21p/h (PAYE) + Mileage
- 17.5hrs working week
