31.25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors and Headteacher of Ince CE Primary and Nursery School are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant Level 2, who embodies the Christian vision and values of our school. This role is temporary to assist with internal changes in school. The successful applicant will cover a range of classes/year groups each week.
We are looking for someone who:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Must hold a level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
- To provide specialist support to students with barriers to learning.
- To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- To establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs.
- To promote good behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
- To supervise and provide particular support for pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
- To create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work.
- To assist with the planning of learning activities.
