Summary

Mount Nod Primary is a thriving and vibrant school looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to appoint as a Play worker to support the Play Leader in the day to day running of our before and after school club.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills in order to develop close partnerships with staff, children and parents.

You will have the ability to support the Play Leader in the planning and organisation of appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 11 years and to work within the agreed framework of procedures.

What is the job role?

You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements in order to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment that addresses the needs of the individual child.

You will be required to attend staff meetings and training when required.

We offer the opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive and creative team with children who are well behaved.

Experience of working with children.

Relevant Level 2 qualification required.

Hours: 24 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.

(7.15am to 9.03am and 2.45pm to 5.45pm each day during term-time).

(We would consider the option of working mornings only, 9 hours per week or afternoons only, 15 hours per week. Please state in your application).
