Would you like to join a growing and dedicated organisation looking to improve mental health and wellbeing for the people of
Wellingborough.
Northamptonshire Mind has developed over the last two years as a newly merged organisation providing vital community mental health
services across the county.
Due to the expansion of our organisation, we now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Community Services Manager in our
Community Hub in Wellingborough.
As a Community Services Manager you will lead a team of staff, volunteers, and social work students to provide local mental health
interventions in Wellingborough. as well as supporting our partners at Northamptonshire Health Foundation Trust, (NHFT), to
deliver crisis support.
You will be expected to work independently with the support of the executive team and other Community Service Managers. The role
will also include being part of the decision making process of the recently formed local partnerships working with other agencies
and organisations.
What skills are required?
* Experience of delivering and organising Mental Health support services in the areas of prevention and support
* Understanding of communities and how to effectively communicate with them.
* Line Management, leadership experience
* Ability to give and receive feedback.
* Resilience and ability to deal with challenging situations.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues.
* Positive attitude towards people with mental health issues
* Good financial management skills and shrewd judgement
* Good organisational, administrative, and time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure, managing competing
priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met
