Summary
Sales & Customer Service Advisor – Temporary (Full Time)
Location: Boston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm
Duration: Up to 2 months initially
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a confident and motivated Sales & Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established wood yard in Boston on a temporary basis. This is a busy and varied role where you’ll work closely with customers, internal teams and account managers to support smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Handling incoming calls and customer queries with professionalism
Processing orders accurately and efficiently
Making proactive outbound calls, including cold calls, load builds and follow-ups on historic orders
Promoting current offers and product campaigns to customers
Liaising with internal departments regarding stock levels, route planning and deliveries, ensuring clear communication throughout
Building strong internal relationships with Account Managers
Supporting joint growth plans through product and market reviews, as well as sharing new ideas and initiatives
Monitoring sales performance across key product groups and offering proactive suggestions
Using CRM systems effectively to maintain accurate customer information
Identifying recurring issues, logging them appropriately and contributing to service improvements
Managing customer complaints from investigation to resolution
About You
You’ll bring proven experience in sales, including upselling and cross-selling techniques, and a positive, self-driven approach. Strong customer service skills are essential. Experience with SAP would be an advantage but is not essential.
