HR Advisor (Temp to Perm)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5pm
Location: Boston (site-based)
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a professional, client-focused HR service across the full employee lifecycle. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
Role Overview
You will provide comprehensive HR advice and operational support to a varied client base, covering all generalist HR areas. This includes employee relations, documentation, onboarding, recruitment, policy development and HR systems support.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on employee relations, employment law and best practice.
• Attend client meetings and support disciplinary, grievance and other HR casework.
• Draft and update contracts, handbooks and HR policies.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, right-to-work checks and documentation.
• Support recruitment activities: advert creation, interview coordination and offer management.
• Assist with HR systems implementation (e.g., BreatheHR).
• Conduct HR audits and reviews for clients.
• Deliver HR projects such as management training and TUPE support.
• Maintain accurate records, meet KPIs and ensure excellent client care.
• Support business development, marketing and client engagement activities.
Person Specification
• CIPD Level 5 and minimum 2 years’ generalist HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing the employee lifecycle and HR/payroll systems.
• Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office; BreatheHR desirable).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
