The Role

Do you enjoy keeping projects organised, on track and running smoothly? Are you confident working with numbers, details and people to make sure everything lands exactly where it should? If so, this Contracts Coordinator role could be the perfect next step.

As a Contracts Coordinator, you will support the delivery of projects by managing key administrative and logistical tasks. You will be working closely with Contracts Managers to coordinate daily activities, track purchase orders, manage equipment hire, record project costs and keep accurate files. You’ll also be the friendly point of contact for clients and help keep Health & Safety information up to date.

This position reports to the Head of Contracts & Supply Chain Manager and is based at Britannia Enterprise Park, Lichfield. Hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:00 and Friday 08:30–16:30, with no weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Contracts Managers to issue daily schedules and track project progress.
• Raise purchase orders, check them against project allocations, and flag any possible overspend.
• Manage equipment hires by securing the best rates and maintaining daily records.
• Share project timelines, start dates, and delays with clients and Contracts Managers.
• Maintain accurate physical and digital contract files.
• Record material and equipment costs as purchase orders are placed.
• Support Health & Safety coordination with the internal H&S team.
• Deliver excellent customer service over the phone and via email.
