Summary
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including the accurate transcription of inpatient and outpatient discharge letters, and the efficient management and processing of clinical referrals to appropriate clinical teams. Co-ordination and support of multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation. Mentoring and support to administrative colleagues, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Independently manage a varied workload with minimal supervision, while contributing to wider administrative functions across the department. Coordinate meetings, preparation of papers and minutes, facilitating clear and timely communication across teams. Maintain and update medical on-call rotas with precision, ensuring timely distribution to relevant teams. Conduct weekly reviews of EPRO audit reports to support the safe and timely dissemination of discharge letters. Skills and Experience: Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The ability to remain calm and professional while working in a specialist area of care.
