An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Specialist Palliative Care and Acute Oncology Care Teams at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are an integrated Palliative Care and Acute Oncology service across the Liverpool University Trust with services at both Aintree and Royal Liverpool Hospital sites. The services provide support and advice to patients, carers and staff across Liverpool University Hospital as well as in Woodlands Hospice, The Walton Centre, St Joseph’s Community Hospice and North Liverpool, South Sefton and Kirkby community services.

Key Responsibilities:
• · Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including the accurate transcription of inpatient and outpatient discharge letters, and the efficient management and processing of clinical referrals to appropriate clinical teams.

· Co-ordination and support of multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation.

· Mentoring and support to administrative colleagues, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

· Independently manage a varied workload with minimal supervision, while contributing to wider administrative functions across the department.

· Coordinate meetings, preparation of papers and minutes, facilitating clear and timely communication across teams.

· Maintain and update medical on-call rotas with precision, ensuring timely distribution to relevant teams.

· Conduct weekly reviews of EPRO audit reports to support the safe and timely dissemination of discharge letters.
